Well, it was a sad day at the Reinhard house yesterday.
Max died, and Michael flushed him.
He was alive in the morning, but when we went to check on him in the evening, he was floating, er, actually sinking in his case.
On a more postive note. . . .
Michael won a goat from a farmer down south and picked it up on Saturday. He is 2 weeks old-but he doesn't have a name-yet! We are asking for suggestions, but request no cliche's such as 'Billy Goat Gruff' or 'Billy the Kid'. We'll let you know what we decide!
It's not every day you have two 'kids' in your kitchen sharing a bottle!
Just 'kidding'!
Poor Max. Because of his tail rot, his equilibrium was off. He would swim at a 45 degree angle with his nose pointing downward. That's how we found him last night. He never did float to the top.
ReplyDeleteNow onto the goat. I'm currently feeding him a 20 oz bottle 3 times a day. The little squirt is quite the eater! But we do need a name for him, so please help!

ReplyDeleteYou won a goat? Hmmm, I don't have good memories of our goat experiences, thus I would name him Trouble or Spunky or something like that:) How about Ezra or Chief or Boomer? Maybe Sonny?

How about Jimmy. That was the name of the loaded goat on Andy Griffith. He ate dynamite and shared a hay filled stall with Otis and was serenaded by Barney! Cy Hudgins was Jimmy's owner. Enjoy your 'kids' this weekend. Teresa C.
