Phineas "Finn" Mateo Reinhard!! We wanted to give him a name that would honor his heritage. Mateo is Spanish for Matthew. Matthew means "gift of God". Finn is certainly that!
We were surprised by a phone call Tuesday morning saying that the time had come. Jo wasn't due until the 21st, so this was 2 weeks early! We rushed down to Anderson and arrived in plenty of time. Finn arrived on 9/8/09 at 7:56pm weighing in at 6lbs, 5oz and measuring 18.5".
We were fortunate to have a few days in the hospital with Jo. It was great to get to know her and we will certainly miss her. The hospital staff was great (we even got our own room) and so were Doug and Brooke from the Miriam Project.
This was truely a miraculous experience. For more details, just ask one of us.

Awww...it makes me sad that there is no picture of Uncle Joel and Finn...but I guess it will look cooler when there are pics of Finn and Joel playing the mouse game and eating a pineapple whip ice cream cone. See you guys at Street Fair and am so happy for you guys. Love ya and take care. By the way, I bragged about my new nephew are the PYG, Finn is a big hit!
