For my 30th birthday, Klint & Sarah gave me an Uncle Klint's Bathroom Reader since Klint and I are such big fan's of Uncle John's. I spend hours reading Uncle John's numerous books...on the couch!!! Anyway, Klint and Sarah gave me a book with 30 random facts. Here are some of my favorites.
-About 8,000 Americans are injured by musical instruments each year.
-Rock star Ozzy Osborne saved his wife Sharon's Pomeranian from a coyote by tackling and wrestling the coyote until it released the dog.
-The sound of E.T. walking was made by someone squishing her hands in jelly.
-The longest one syllable word in the English language is "screeched."
-Odontophobia is the fear of teeth.
-A dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
-The Main Library at Indiana University sinks over an inch every year because when it was built, engineers failed to take into account the weight of all the books that would occupy the building.
-On average, there are 178 sesame seeds on a Big Mac bun.
-Los Angeles's full name is "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de losAngeles de Porciuncula" and can be abbreviated to 3.63% of its size: "L.A."
-No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver or purple.
